Repairs, modifications and original warranties
JOGi MODS provides repairs and modifications for game consoles, handheld devices, computers and other electronics. Opening a device, installing custom parts or performing a modification may void the original manufacturer warranty or another extended warranty. Customers are responsible for understanding that effect before approving work.
Parts may be original or high-quality aftermarket components. A repaired device, especially one with a metal housing or damaged frame, may retain marks or impressions that show it has been opened.
Responsible use of modifications
Some modifications are intended to enable custom or homebrew software, including free and open-source applications, or to extend the features of a device. They are not intended to support piracy, copyright infringement or unauthorized access to media, software or intellectual property.
JOGi MODS does not provide illegal copies, backup discs or instructions for obtaining them. Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable local, provincial, federal and other laws and for any unauthorized use of a serviced device.
Personal information
Customer information is not sold to third parties. Contact details and device serial numbers or other identifiers may be retained and used when needed to identify a repair, provide warranty service or communicate about the job.
Back up your data
Whenever possible, back up important files before bringing in or shipping a device. Many repairs do not affect stored data, but JOGi MODS cannot guarantee that data will remain intact. A repair, new component, firmware change or troubleshooting step may require storage to be reset, and data may become corrupt, inaccessible or lost.
Liquid damage and physically damaged housings
Liquid damage can continue to cause corrosion and additional faults over time, including during a repair. Devices with bent, broken or damaged frames, bezels, housings or corners may acquire marks or scuffs while being opened or repaired, or may need those changes to complete the repair safely.
