Warranty information
Our limited warranty is intended to give you confidence in hardware repairs and replacement parts while making the boundaries of coverage clear.
What is covered
Hardware repairs and replacement parts include a limited warranty beginning on the repair date, or in some cases the date the unit is picked up. Warranty service applies to the original repair issue while the stated coverage is active.
Warranty coverage is void if the warranty sticker has been broken or tampered with, the unit has been opened by a customer or another repairer, or the device has new physical, liquid or attempted-repair damage.
Cracked, broken or liquid-damaged screens
Cracked glass, damaged LCD or OLED panels, leaking screens, coloured spots and lines caused by pressure, impact, a fall, liquid or other physical damage are not covered. Screens and glass damaged after the repair cannot be returned to our suppliers.
Software services
Software services do not include a warranty. This includes firmware or operating-system installs, software configuration, updates, patches, virus removal and similar work.
Pixels, ports and connectors
Replacement screens include a two-stuck-pixel guarantee: during the first three months, JOGi MODS will replace the screen if it develops more than two stuck or dead pixels, subject to parts availability.
HDMI, USB, charging ports, sockets and DC jacks are covered only when they have not been physically broken. Bent or pushed pins, lifted connectors and force damage are treated as physical damage.
Refunds, returns and parts
If the same issue cannot be corrected under an active warranty, JOGi MODS may refund some or all of the original repair cost, depending on the service. Any replacement parts used may be removed, and some services may include a non-refundable labour fee.
Unused parts in original packaging may be eligible for return. A $10 restocking fee applies to parts under $70 and a $20 fee applies to parts priced at $70 or more. Damaged, installed, used or broken components cannot be returned.
Third-party repairs
For work submitted indirectly through another shop or repair centre, that vendor handles warranty and return arrangements with its customer.
